PS Kalindi Kunj police solved the robbery case in 18 hours
New Delhi : Kalindi Kunj police station took prompt action and successfully cracked a robbery case within just 18 hours. Police have arrested three accused in this case and recovered the looted Samsung S24 FE mobile phone from their possession, while another co-accused is still absconding, whose search is on. According to the information received, on 09 February 2026, at around 9:15 pm, information about the robbery incident was received through PCR call at PS Kalindi Kunj near Khadar Pulia Bus Stand on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.
As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the spot, where the complainant Jagdish Singh, son of Laxman Singh, resident of Madanpur Khadar, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi (age 42 years, LIC employee) was found present. On the basis of the statement of the complainant, FIR No. 125/2026 dated 10.02.2026 under Section 309/3 (5) BNS was registered in Police Station Kalindi Kunj and investigation was started. In view of the seriousness of the matter, under the leadership and supervision of Inspector Jatan Singh, SHO Kalindi Kunj, Inspector Surendra Singh, ATO, ASI Rakesh, Head Constable Harish, Head Constable A special team of Kulshrestha, Head Constable Bharat and Constable Abhay was formed.
The team meticulously analyzed more than 50 CCTV footages of the incident site and surrounding routes. With the help of local intelligence and technical surveillance, four suspects were identified, out of which three accused were arrested within just 18 hours of the incident, while one co-accused is still absconding. The looted mobile phone was also recovered at the instance of the arrested accused. During interrogation, the accused accepted their involvement in the robbery incident. He said that they were doing recce of the area in search of easy prey and after seeing the victim standing alone near the bus stand, they targeted him.
After the incident, he hid the mobile phone, which was later recovered on his information. The police are now interrogating the accused and investigating their involvement in other cases and the search for absconding co-accused Noor Navi is going on. The arrested accused have been identified as Dilwar Ali, 23, resident of Madanpur Khadar; Soriful 19 years, resident of Madanpur Khadar; And Mohin has been identified as 22 year old resident of Madanpur Khadar. According to the police, the three accused have no previous criminal record. At the same time, police teams are continuously raiding to arrest the absconding accused Noor Navi, resident of Madanpur Khadar. According to the South-East District Deputy Commissioner of Police Office, due to the promptness, technical analysis and cautious action of the police, the early disclosure of this case was possible and the campaign will continue in the future for effective control of crime in the area.
