Neither of the house, nor of the ghat…Pakistan got a double blow in the Security Council, a big victory for India.

New Delhi: The latest report of the 1267 Sanctions Monitoring Committee of the United Nations Security Council has given a severe blow to Pakistan. Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed has been clearly mentioned in the report and it has been registered as a terrorist organization recognized by the United Nations. The links of this organization have also been found to be linked to the terrorist attack on the Red Fort of Delhi. Besides, Pakistan also failed in its second attempt, in which it had demanded to ban Baloch Liberation Army in the United Nations by calling it an ally of Al Qaeda.

He strongly protested against the mention of Jaish-e-Mohammed in the report and claimed that the organization is now defunct, but he remained alone on this issue. Other member countries openly supported India’s stand. The report has also revealed the plan of Jaish to prepare a separate terrorist squad of women, which has further affected the image of Pakistan.

Pak scrambles, registers sole protest

Pakistan expressed strong protest when the name of Jaish-e-Mohammed appeared in the report. He registered his disagreement that this organization is now inactive. According to sources, Pakistan was the only member country to object to the mention of Jaish-e-Mohammed. While the rest of the countries supported India’s side.

Jaish is preparing terrorist squad of women

According to the report, a member country claimed that Jaish-e-Mohammed has taken responsibility for several attacks. Notably, Jaish-e-Mohammed was also involved in the attack on the Red Fort on November 9, in which 15 people were killed. On October 8, Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Maulana Masood Azhar Alvi formally announced the establishment of Jamaat-ul-Muminat, a special organization for women, the sole purpose of which is to support terrorism.

Attacks mentioned in the report

The report also mentions the Pahalgam attack, in which three terrorists were killed in Jammu and Kashmir. The monitoring group’s previous report had for the first time named ‘The Resistance Front’ as the group responsible for the Pahalgam attack. Despite Pakistan’s protests, the group was banned for being an affiliate of the UN-designated terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba.

What does Pakistan want?

Although Jaish-e-Mohammed is already banned under the 1267 Sanctions Committee of the United Nations due to its links with Al Qaeda, Pakistan tried its best not to mention it repeatedly in the report. Islamabad’s aim has always been to show the world that these organizations no longer operate from its soil.

Baloch Liberation Army should not be declared terrorist

Pakistan was not successful in linking the Baloch Liberation Army with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and its affiliates Al Qaeda or ISIL. However, the report records that the Baloch Liberation Army had carried out an ambush in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, in which 32 Pakistani military personnel were killed. The report also said that some member countries assess that there is neither any relationship nor any growing relationship between the Baloch Liberation Army and Al Qaeda or ISIL.

America and France created obstacles

Pakistan was trying to get BLA designated as an organization associated with Al-Qaeda in the 1267 Committee of the United Nations by falsely alleging collusion with TTP. But America, Britain and France have stopped this proposal of Pakistan-China. It is noteworthy that for years, China had similarly obstructed India’s proposals against Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
