Pune: From ‘Exercise Rudra Shakti’ witnessed the roar of tanks, the roar of cannons and Apache helicopters hovering in the sky at the Pokhran Field Firing Range in Rajasthan. Indian Armyre-emphasized its readiness for the modern battlefield. Lt. Gen. Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command reviewed the exercise and praised the readiness of the soldiers. This all-arms exercise organized by Rudra Brigade was conducted with live firing. variable warThe main objective of the exercise was to test the capability of conducting coordinated military operations under high intensity conditions. ‘Rudra Shakti’ was organized as a follow-up to the earlier ‘Exercise Akhand Prahar’.

Pune News: Successful conclusion of Indian Army-CISF joint training exercise ‘Ekta Shakti’

The exercise made effective use of mechanized forces, artillery, air defense units, Army Aviation’s ALH-WSI and Apache helicopters as well as unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and counter-UAS technology. The Army demonstrated its warfighting prowess through precise coordination between land, air and digital domains.

During the review, Lieut. General Seth while interacting with the soldiers praised their high standard of training, professionalism and operational readiness. He noted that the ability to successfully execute complex missions with speed, accuracy and team spirit was remarkable.

The exercise ‘Rudra Shakti’ is considered as a concrete proof of the ongoing modernization of the Indian Army and a clear message was given that the Army is ready to face future security challenges based on new strategies, technological empowerment and organizational innovations.

Successful conclusion of Indian Army-CISF joint training

A two-week special training capsule organized by the Southern Command for Central Industrial Security Force CISF personnel at the Military-Civil Fusion Node at Aundh Military Station was successfully concluded on January 31. The training was concluded with a validation exercise called ‘Ekta Shakti’. The objective of this training was to enhance the efficiency and preparedness of CISF personnel who are first responders in complex and changing security situations. The training included quick reaction team drills, basic field and battle craft, firing as well as martial arts, which developed the skills of the participating personnel to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
