Jos Buttler made a world record by catching a catch 122 meters high, said- even Dhoni and Gilchrist could not do it – see VIDEO
Jos Buttler World Record: England team’s wicketkeeper Jos Buttler has achieved a fantastic feat and created a Guinness World Record. He made the record of making the highest catch with a cricket ball and became the first player in the world. He achieved this record under the supervision of former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen.
This challenge was not easy for Jos Buttler. He practiced several times for about 60 minutes and ultimately created new history by succeeding in some of his attempts. Butler caught the catch dropped from a drone from a height of 122 metres, which was about 400 feet above the ground. Before this, no player had been able to catch a catch above 120 meters. This record was made in Cape Town.
Earlier the record was in the name of Timothy Shannon
Earlier this record was in the name of Timothy Shannon Jebesilen of Australia, who caught a distance of 119.86 meters (about 393 feet) on 19 November 2021. Butler got 60 minutes time in this challenge. He started with the first 50 meter catch. In the initial attempts he did not understand whether this would be possible or not. “It’s hard to do, while winning the World Cup seems easy. Even MS Dhoni and Adam Gilchrist might not have been able to do it,” Buttler told Pietersen in a video shared on The Switch Hit YouTube channel.
