5 important signs of liver infection, do not ignore

Health Desk. Liver is an important organ of the body, which works to absorb nutrition from food, remove toxins and maintain energy. However, due to today’s fast and unhealthy lifestyle, the risk of liver infection has increased. If symptoms are not identified in time, it can cause serious health problems.

1. Constant fatigue and weakness:

Early signs of liver infection include persistent fatigue, weakness and lack of energy in the body. The person feels lethargic throughout the day and even doing normal work becomes difficult.

2. Yellowness of eyes and skin:

When the liver gets damaged, the level of a substance called bilirubin increases, due to which yellowness appears in the eyes and skin. This is called yellowness and is a clear sign of liver infection.

3. Stomach pain and swelling:

Pain, swelling or feeling of heaviness on the right side of the upper abdomen or near the digestive system are common symptoms of liver infection. Sometimes this pain may spread to the back or shoulder.

4. Loss of appetite and nausea:

When there is liver infection, the digestive system gets affected. Due to this, problems like loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and difficulty in digesting food arise.

5. Change in color of urine and stool:

During infection, urine may be dark or tea-colored, while stool may be lighter than normal or whiter. This indicates an imbalance of bile juice in the liver.
