Muslim leader commented on RSS in the Assembly, ruling party protested fiercely, Deputy Chief Minister demanded removal of the comment
Patna. There was a huge uproar in the Bihar Assembly on the mention of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. As soon as RJD’s Muslim MLA took the name of RSS, there was an uproar in the assembly. The ruling party MLAs started protesting against this and demanding removal of the comments made on RSS. The issue of law and order was to be debated in the Bihar Legislative Council on Thursday in the Bihar Assembly. There was a lot of uproar during the debate.

RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui said in the Assembly on Thursday that these figures are an eye-opener for those who talk about Jungle Raj and Mangal Raj. Meanwhile, while commenting, he said that the government ministers are responding to those who are asking them to give RSS. Leaders of the ruling party got angry after Siddiqui commented on RSS. The situation in the Assembly deteriorated so much that the Chairman had to give instructions to exclude Siddiqui’s remarks from the proceedings. After the uproar, Siddiqui expressed concern over the law and order situation in the state and sought a detailed answer from Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that the cases of cognizable crimes have increased in the last few years. In 2004, these cases were 1,15,216 and now by 2024, these cases have increased to about 3.52 lakh. The Deputy Chief Minister said that in 2004 there were 11,518 cases of theft and now it has increased to 22,760. They had 20,468 kidnapping cases registered, of which 158 cases were related to murder and ransom.
