Kanpur Lamborghini scandal: Tobacco businessman’s son Shivam Mishra arrested, will be presented in court, know the whole matter

Kanpur. Police have arrested Shivam Mishra, son of a tobacco businessman, in connection with the high-profile Lamborghini accident on VIP Road. Many people were injured in this accident involving a luxury car worth crores of rupees. Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal confirmed the arrest and said that the 35-year-old accused will be produced in the court.

A car worth Rs 10 crore had caused havoc-


Around 3 pm on Sunday afternoon, a Lamborghini Revuelto worth more than Rs 10 crore went out of control in Gwaltoli area. The speeding car hit the auto and Bullet bike parked on the roadside, then climbed onto the footpath. Four people including the vehicle passengers were injured in the accident.

The injured include 18-year-old e-rickshaw driver Mohammad Taufiq, who has filed a complaint in the matter. Bullet riders Vishal Tripathi and Sonu Tripathi were also injured.

‘Who was the driver?’ New twist on the claim-
After the accident, the matter became more complicated when a person named Mohan came forward and claimed to be the driver of the car and claimed that he and not Shivam Mishra was driving the car at the time of the incident. However the police rejected this claim.

According to DCP Central Atul Kumar Srivastava, the evidence found in the investigation has made it clear that Shivam Mishra was driving the car at the time of the accident.

Bouncers’ scuffle, attempt to break number plate-


According to eyewitnesses, people surrounded the car after the accident. Meanwhile, the security personnel who came from the car following the Lamborghini tried to disperse the crowd. The windshield of the car was broken to free the driver and he was taken to a private hospital.

Some security personnel were also accused of trying to break the number plate of the car to hide its identity. Police reached the spot and sent the luxury car to the police station and took the injured to the hospital.

Police action-
The Police Commissioner said that five teams were formed to arrest the accused. On receiving the information, Shivam Mishra was detained and presented in the court.

At present the police is investigating the entire matter. The cause of the accident has also come to light that the driver suffered a stroke, which can be confirmed only after the medical report.
