Delhi: Foreign citizen wanted to stay for free, when hotel staff refused, he cut himself with a knife.
An intoxicated Turkmen citizen cut himself with a knife outside a hotel in Paharganj, Central Delhi on Wednesday. After which he was admitted to the hospital. A police officer gave this information to a news agency. According to the officer, the incident took place outside the White Glow Hotel, where the man named Jehun stayed between January 20 and February 10 this year.
According to the officer, when Jehun returned to the hotel on February 11, his condition was not well. It is being said that he was drunk. Police said that even though he had no money, he asked for a place to stay. The hotel staff told him that no room was vacant, after which he became angry and slashed his throat with the knife he had with him.

Hotel management informed the local beat police. But by the time they could intervene, Jehoon had lost a lot of blood. Jehun was taken to Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) Hospital, where he was admitted for emergency treatment. Police said that the medical examination confirmed that he was very drunk at the time of the incident. He wanted to stay in the hotel for free. He is being interrogated and his family members have also been contacted. Further action is underway in the case.
