New Delhi. Congress President Malkirjun Kharge has once again raised questions on the trade deal. He said that today all the trade unions, farmers and workers of the country are on the streets because of the snatching of the Modi government’s trade deal, labor laws and MNREGA.

He further said, coming under foreign pressure, the Modi government has played with the lives of crores of citizens of the country. Those who say “this time, Trump government” have hurt the national interest of India, the biggest opposition to which is being faced by our workers, small businessmen and the general public. From the streets to the Parliament, our struggle will continue.
Along with this, Kharge has written another post on a social media account, in which he said, in the 21st century, when we make claims of big social development and social reforms. Then in Odisha, people of a particular community refuse to give the food prepared by a Dalit woman helper/cook to their children. That Anganwadi center is being boycotted for the last three months. Anganwadi centers are the foundation of physical and mental development of children in the country, but such caste discrimination will affect the development of children.
These incidents are a violation of Article 21 (A) of the Constitution. At the same time, it is contrary to the obligation enshrined in Article 47, according to which the state has the responsibility to raise the nutritional level and improve public health. Such incidents will also be seen as caste discrimination in the workplace and in recent years many such incidents have come to light from different parts of the country.

These incidents show that caste discrimination is not limited to social life but also exists in the workplace. Caste discrimination against any employee is a violation of the Constitution and a punishable offence. My demand is that strict action should be taken in such cases in a time bound manner. Also, where serious violations are found in these cases, accountability should also be fixed.
