Suryakumar Yadav said what went wrong in batting

At one point, Team India was heading towards 250 runs, but fell short by 40 runs. Speaking about this, captain Suryakumar Yadav said at the post-match presentation ceremony, “It was a great game by all. I think it was not an easy wicket to bat on, but the way Ishan and Sanju started, it felt like an easy wicket. Then there was the partnership between Shivam and Hardik. The way they batted after losing two-three early wickets was admirable. I think the ball was stopping a bit, but I don’t want to take any credit from all the Namibian bowlers.”

Skipper Suryakumar Yadav added, “They bowled really well. I thought they bowled hard. They had their plans, which they executed very well, but I was very impressed with their bowling. We lost two-three wickets in the beginning, but then our partnership got better and we finished well in the end.”

Team India is all set to play their next match against Pakistan. Suryakumar Yadav has made a big statement about this, he said, “I think it was a big plus to see Bumrah complete his four overs. It’s good to have him back in the team. He is also fully prepared for the next match. The way he bowls in partnership with Varun Chakraborty, Axar Patel, I think that combination is tough to play. I mean, he bowls with the new ball, the old ball and in the death overs if needed.”

On Bumrah’s return, the Indian captain said, “Bumrah’s four overs is a plus point for the team. It’s good to see him back in the team. He is fully prepared for the next match. The way Varun Chakraborty and Axar Patel are bowling, I think it’s not easy to play against them. New ball or old ball, he bowls in the death overs if needed.”
