Greenfield 4-lane road will be built in Bihar, good news for these districts!

News Desk. An important initiative towards strengthening the infrastructure in Bihar is gaining momentum. The district administration has become active to speed up the Munger-Mokama Greenfield Four Lane Project. In the review meeting held in the consultation room at the headquarters, District Magistrate Mithilesh Mishra discussed the progress of the project in detail with the concerned officials.

Circle Officer, Revenue Officer, Amin and representatives of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) were also present in this meeting. This project is being prepared with the aim of establishing fast and easy connectivity between Mokama and Munger, which will also directly benefit the surrounding districts.

Land survey going on in five areas

For the proposed expressway, which is being developed under National Highway 33, land survey is going on in five zones of Lakhisarai district. The District Land Acquisition Officer in-charge informed that the survey work has been completed in Pipariya and Chanan areas. Work is in the final stages in some mausoleums of Barhiya and Lakhisarai. The District Magistrate directed that the remaining work should be completed within two days.

Regional development will get a new direction

The Munger-Mokama Greenfield Four Lane is not just a road construction project, but it can also become a vehicle for regional economic transformation. With the construction of expressway: travel time will reduce, trade and transportation will gain momentum, possibilities of industrial investment will increase, local employment opportunities will be created. With better connectivity, it will be easier to transport agricultural products to the market, which can also benefit farmers.
