Who is Udit Narayan’s first wife Ranjana Jha? Serious allegations create stir after 31 years

Tezzbuzz Desk – Bollywood’s famous playback singer Udit Narayan is once again embroiled in controversy. This time the allegations have not been made by any outsider, but by his first wife Ranjana Narayan Jha. Ranjana has made serious allegations saying that her uterus was removed without her knowledge and consent.

Complaint lodged in women’s police station

Ranjana Narayan Jha has lodged a complaint at Supaul Mahila police station in Bihar on 10 February. According to him, in 1996, on the pretext of treatment, he was taken to a hospital in Delhi, where he was operated on. Ranjana alleges that Udit Narayan’s two brothers and his second wife Deepa were also involved in this entire matter.

Ranjana says that recently during treatment for another disease, she came to know that her uterus had already been removed. After this revelation he decided to take legal action.

Who is Ranjana Narayan Jha?

Ranjana is a resident of Balua Bazar in Supaul district of Bihar. She married Udit Narayan at a time when he was struggling to make his mark in the film industry. After marriage, both of them lived together in Bihar for some time, but later Udit moved to Mumbai.

It is said that in 1985, Udit Narayan married Deepa without divorcing Ranjana. He has a son from Deepa, Aditya Narayan, who is a well-known name in the industry today.

Ranjana is now 61 years old and living alone in Bihar. She has no children with Udit.

Legal disputes have already taken place

This is not the first time that Ranjana has taken legal action against Udit Narayan. Earlier, he had filed a case demanding maintenance. He had alleged that he was rendered homeless and left financially helpless.

During the hearing of this case in Supaul Family Court, Udit Narayan had initially refused the settlement, but later agreed to pay maintenance. Ranjana had also alleged that Rs 18 lakh received from selling a property in Nepal was not given to her. Ranjana is demanding her rights, calling herself the legal wife of Udit Narayan. She says that due to her deteriorating health she wants to live with her husband and should get her marital rights.
