Lucknow: Speeding car hits 5 people, 6 year old child dies
A painful road accident took place on 12 February (Thursday) near Hanuman Temple in Banthra area of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The accident occurred when a high speed car hit an auto-rickshaw parked on the roadside. The collision was so strong that some people passing by also got hit by the car. A 6-year-old child suffered serious injuries in this accident. He died during treatment. It is being told that the car which caused the accident was being driven by a boy of class 12th. At present the police is investigating the entire matter.
The collision was so severe that a total of five people were seriously injured in this accident. All the injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. The treatment of the remaining injured is still going on in the hospital.

Information received so far
According to media reports, a 12th class boy was driving the car. He was returning from his school’s farewell party with a friend. The girl was also present in the car at the time of the accident.
It is being told that after the accident, he first dropped his friend at her house and then went to his home. At present the police has not given any official information in this matter.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the local police reached the spot. The police have taken possession of the dead child’s body and started investigation. Along with this, the victims’ families have been informed about the accident.

At present, the police is searching for the unknown car and its driver who managed to escape from the spot after the accident. Police are scanning the CCTV footage installed nearby so that the accused can be caught as soon as possible.
