Address of Prime Minister’s Office will change, now government will run from ‘Seva Tirtha’, PM Modi will inaugurate hi-tech office

New Delhi, 13 February. The address of the Prime Minister’s Office will change in the national capital Delhi from Friday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate ‘Seva Teerth’, a new office with hi-tech office and smart grid. The picture of his new office has also been revealed. Prime Minister Modi will unveil the naming of the ‘Seva Tirtha’ building complex at around 1.30 pm. After this he will formally inaugurate Seva Teerth and Dutta Bhawan-1 and Dutta Bhawan-2.

The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting at Seva Teerth at around 6 pm. The Prime Minister’s office will be in Seva Teerth. Apart from this, there will also be the National Security Council Secretariat and the Cabinet Secretariat, which were earlier located at different places. Many major ministries including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Ministry of Tribal Affairs have been created in Dutva Bhawan-1 and Dutva Bhawan-2.

For decades, many key government offices and ministries functioned from fragmented and aging infrastructure spread across multiple locations in the Central Vista area. This proliferation of head offices led to problems such as operational inefficiencies, coordination challenges, rising maintenance costs and unsuitable working environments. These problems will now be solved by consolidating administrative functions within a new building complex equipped with modern and future-ready facilities.

Both building complexes have digitally integrated offices, well-organized public interaction areas and centralized reception facilities. These facilities will promote collaboration, efficiency, smooth operations, better citizen participation and employee welfare. Designed as per 4-star GRIHA standards, these complexes include renewable energy systems, water conservation measures, waste management solutions and high-performance building structures.

These measures will increase operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact to a great extent. The building complexes also include comprehensive security arrangements such as smart access control systems, surveillance networks and advanced emergency response infrastructure, which will ensure a safe and accessible environment for officials and visitors.
