According to reports, arrangements for the stay of the Pakistan Men’s Hockey team were made in a hotel, but the Pakistan Hockey Federation did not make the payment for the hotel on time. Due to which the booking was canceled and the players had to wander on the road for hours.

Hotel bill not paid
According to sources, rooms were said to be booked in a four-star hotel for the team and officials. He was assured that the Pakistan Hockey Federation and Pakistan Sports Board had made the payment. But as soon as we reached Australia, we came to know that neither there was any booking in the hotel nor any money had been deposited.
2-3 players stay in the same room
The team’s head coach Tahir Zaman tried to contact Pakistani officials but could not be contacted due to different time zones. The players who had come after a long journey from Lahore had neither any place to rest nor any arrangement for food and drink. After many hours of hard work, the hotel management gave some rooms to the players. Due to lack of rooms, two-three players had to stay in the same room.
The very next day the team had to play a match against Australia. In which they had to face defeat by 2-3. Earlier, during the first phase of Pre League in Argentina, Pakistani players did not get daily allowance, due to which they had to face shortage of money abroad.
