Chaos in Katha Pandal: Female devotee lost her life in Pradeep Mishra’s program

Dabra/Gwalior: A sad news has come out from Dabra tehsil of Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. Here a female devotee suddenly died during the Shivmahapuran story of renowned storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra. 65-year-old Pushpa Devi, who came from Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, died within just 10 minutes of sitting in the Katha Pandal. There was a commotion at the venue after this incident, although the story continued to flow.

As soon as he sat in the pandal, his health deteriorated, he stopped breathing before reaching the hospital.

According to the information received, the story of Shivmahapuran is being read by Pandit Pradeep Mishra on the auspicious occasion of Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav of Navagrah Peeth in Dabra. Etawah resident Pushpa Devi had reached the pandal at around 8 am on Friday morning to listen to the story. Family members told that she was just sitting in the pandal when suddenly she felt nervous and fell unconscious. Other devotees and organizers present there immediately took him to a nearby private hospital, but doctors declared him dead.

Cause of death was ‘cardiac arrest’, Pushpa Devi was staying at relatives’ house

According to the preliminary investigation of doctors, the cause of death of Pushpa Devi is believed to be sudden heart attack (cardiac arrest). The relatives of the deceased told that she was staying at the house of her brother-in-law living in Sarafa Bazar area of ​​Dabra. In the morning she had gone out with full devotion to listen to the story of Mahadev, but destiny had something else in store. The police have taken possession of the body and started the post-mortem process so that the exact cause of death can be known.
