Actually, Ustra wanted to create a separate identity from Dawood Ibrahim at that time. At that time very few people faced Dawood’s influence and Ustra was known for its identity.
What was the role of Sapna didi?
On one hand, Hussain’s story was of protest while Sapna Didi’s story was of revenge. Actually, her husband Mahmood Khan was killed by Dawood Ibrahim’s gang. After which Sapna didi decided not to back down and joined hands with Hussain Ustara to avenge the death. According to reports, Hussain gave strict training to Sapna didi, taught her physical fighting, riding a motorbike and using weapons. Trupti Dimri has been seen in this role in the film O Romeo.
