Jaipur/Bikaner, 13 February. Under the policy of zero tolerance against corruption in Rajasthan, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) carried out a major action on Friday morning. Registering a case of disproportionate assets against Junior Assistant Subhkaran Parihar (Chhimpa) posted in Panchayat Samiti Bap of Phalodi district, the Bureau teams conducted a simultaneous search operation at 05 locations located in Bikaner and Phalodi.
Kuber’s Treasure: 75 lakh cash recovered from the house. ACB Director General Govind Gupta said that the Bureau’s team was stunned during the search at the Mateshwari Enclave residence of accused Shubhakaran Parihar in Bikaner. In the investigation so far, cash worth about Rs 75 lakh has been recovered from the accused. Apart from this, it has been confirmed that more than 1 kg of gold and 2 kg of silver jewelery was found from the locations located in Gangashahar and Mateshwari Enclave of Bikaner.
Assets 938 percent more than legal income
Verification of the confidential complaint received by the Bureau revealed the shocking fact that the accused has acquired illegal assets 938 percent more than the legal income during his tenure. The accused is currently working in Gram Panchayat Udat (Bap, Phalodi), whereas earlier he was posted in Kanasar. The estimated value of this black money of corruption is estimated to be crores of rupees.
Luxurious house and 17 hectares of land
The operation, which is being conducted under the supervision of ACB Deputy Inspector General Shri Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav, has so far revealed the following assets:
Bikaner City: 03 luxurious houses.
Punarasar Village: 01 grand residential house.
agricultural land : About 17 hectares (about 65-70 bighas) of land in benami and own name.
Search operation continues
The search operation is still going on in Bikaner and Phalodi under the direction of ACB Additional Director General of Police Smt. Smita Srivastava. The teams led by Additional Superintendents of Police Vinod Kumar and Ashish Kumar are also examining other documents and bank accounts. According to the Bureau, there is every possibility of many more benami properties and huge investments being exposed as the investigation progresses.
