Choosing the right time and place
The best time to plant Tuberose is considered to be from February to April and then July-August. Plant it at a place where it can get direct sunlight for at least 5-6 hours. If you are planting in a pot, choose a pot 8-10 inches deep, so that the roots can spread well.

This plant likes loamy soil with good drainage. You can prepare the mixture by mixing 50% garden soil, 30% cowdung manure and 20% sand. Water should not stagnate in the soil, otherwise the bulbs may rot. Before transplanting, it is better to dry the soil in the sun and free it from fungus.

In summer, do light irrigation 2-3 times a week. Water as per need in winter. Add organic manure or vermicompost every 20-25 days, this will speed up the growth of the plant and produce more flowers.

The plant starts flowering within 90-100 days of transplantation. Keep removing withered flowers timely, this helps in the formation of new buds. Neem oil can be sprayed to protect against insects.
