But the Sri Lankan Meteorological Department has issued a warning. There is a possibility of a low pressure area forming in the south-eastern Bay of Bengal around February 15. Due to which the match may be disrupted or the entire match may be washed out.

Sri Lanka Meteorological Department’s warning
Sri Lanka’s Department of Meteorology has issued an alert through its Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre. The statement said, a low pressure area is likely to form in the south-eastern Bay of Bengal around February 15. Due to this low pressure area, the possibility of rain has increased, which can cause major disruption during or before the match.
According to Accuweather, there is a possibility of rain two hours before the start of the match i.e. around 5 pm. However, the chances of rain during the match are said to be less. Playing conditions in Colombo will be cloudy, with the temperature expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius and humidity in the 70s.

India and Pakistan would like to continue their unbeaten journey so far in this tournament. India started their campaign with a nervous win against America, where Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliant innings saved the team. After this, a big win of 93 runs was achieved over Namibia.
