Chief Minister Maniya Samman Yojana; Good news for the women in Jharkhand who are not getting money

Under the ambitious Chief Minister Maniya Samman Yojana of Jharkhand Government, there are a total of 3,05,892 beneficiaries who are not getting the Samman amount due to non-seeding of their bank accounts, name mismatch, wrong name and verification pending. The Directorate of Social Security under the Department of Child Development and Social Security is investigating the data correction/verification of such money. After completing the prescribed process under the scheme and improving payment, they will be given an honorarium of Rs 2500.

Uma Shankar Singh, the new Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department, conducted a detailed review of the Maniya Samman Yojana on Friday. In the review meeting, it was revealed that a total of 7,72,446 applications were pending in the Chief Minister Maniya Samman Yojana portal. The maximum number of applications are from Ranchi, Dhanbad and Palamu districts, where 71,734, 68,307 and 67,231 applications are pending respectively.

After this, 53,800 in Giridih, 48,858 in West Singhbhum, 43,692 in Deoghar, 39,406 in East Singhbhum, 33,009 in Bokaro, 32,299 in Sahibganj, 29,233 in Ramgarh, 28,193 in Chatra, 27,979 in Dumka, 27,979 in Godda. 26,473, 26,427 in Seraikela-Kharsawan, 24,772 in Khunti, 24,760 in Pakur, 21,092 in Latehar, 16,586 in Giridih, 14,442 in Koderma, 10,148 in Gumla, 8,977 in Lohardaga, Jamtara. 8,291 applications, 6,633 in Khunti and 6,104 applications in Simdega are pending on the portal.

According to the information about the beneficiaries in the review meeting, out of 3,05,892 beneficiaries, maximum 1,34,949 are from OBC category. After improving the records of maximum beneficiaries of OBC category, instructions were given to give honorarium. The major three districts are Giridih (20,420), Ranchi (17,974) and Hazaribagh (17,829). 89,522 beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste category, 45,271 of General category and 36,150 of ST category are being reviewed.

In the meeting, information was also given about the reasons for stopping the honorarium of all the beneficiaries. In this, 5438 invalid Aadhaar, 66,021 Aadhaar duplicate, 15,004 bank account error cases have been reported. Apart from this, applications of a total of 26,185 beneficiaries in three districts are pending due to various reasons. Of these, 13,622 bills are pending in Ranchi, 6,345 in West Singhbhum and 6,218 in Godda district.
