Next chapter of Digital India, will AI Summit open new path of progress?
India AI Mission: India is once again going to play a big role on the global stage. The country will host the ‘Global AI Impact Summit’ in February 2026. Will host the event, about which there is tremendous enthusiasm in political and technical circles. During an event organized in the capital, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this conference will prove to be a big step towards improving the world.
Sharing the Prime Minister’s statement on social media, Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw wrote, ‘Many countries from around the world and tech leaders are coming to India to participate in the Global AI Impact Summit. Together with all, we will continue our constant efforts to build a better world.”
Summit will be based on people, planet and progress
According to External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, this summit to be held from 16 to 20 February will be based on three sources: People, Planet and Progress. It will be divided into seven major rounds to enable in-depth discussions on various aspects of policies, research, industry and society. This is the first time that the ‘Global South’ AI summit is being organized on such a large scale.
Top leaders of 20 countries will participate
According to the official information of the Ministry of External Affairs, 20 big leaders from all over the world will participate in this summit. These include names like Bhutan’s Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, French President Emmanuel Macron and Spain’s President Pedro Sanchez. Apart from this, ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres will also participate in the discussion.
The event will be held in Bharat Mandapam
This five-day program will be organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. There will be a brainstorming session among policy-makers, tech companies, startups and experts on the future of AI, governance, innovation and sustainable development.

AI expo spread over 70,000 square meters
‘India AI Impact Expo’ This summit will have a special attraction. More than 300 exhibitors from 30 countries will participate in this expo spread over 70,000 square meters. Here you will get a glimpse of AI technology from research to its use on a large scale.
