How to make rice tikkis
Step 1: Prepare the tikki mixture
First of all, mash cooked rice and boiled potatoes well in a large bowl. After this add onion, green chilli, green coriander, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and gram flour. Now mix all these things well with hands and prepare a soft dough. If this mixture seems too wet then add some more gram flour to bring it to the right texture.
Step 2: Shape the tikkis
Now take small portions from the prepared mixture and prepare them into round or oval shaped tikkis. You can keep the size of tikkis as small or big as per your choice.
Step 3: Frying Process
Now heat some oil in a pan. Add the prepared tikkis into it and shallow fry from both sides until golden brown and crispy. If you want a healthy option, these tikkis can also be baked in the air fryer.
