Mahashivratri Special Trains: General and sleeper coaches have been installed in these Mahashivratri special trains so that passengers can travel as per their convenience. According to the schedule released by the Railways, these trains will operate for ten days in three shifts i.e. morning, evening and night.
Mahashivratri Special Trains: As the festival approaches, huge crowds of passengers start gathering at railway stations. Tomorrow i.e. on 15th February is the festival of Mahashivratri, one of the most sacred festivals of Hindus. On this occasion, people go from far and wide to have darshan of Baba Mahakal. Recently, a big decision has been taken by Railways on this special occasion. Keeping in mind the convenience and safety of passengers, Railways has announced to run three pairs of new ‘Mela Special’ trains between Ujjain to Bhopal and Sant Hirdaram Nagar (Bairagarh). These special trains will operate from 13th February till 23rd February 2026 i.e. for a total of 10 days. With the running of these trains, devotees will now be able to travel conveniently without any hassle.
At what time will these special trains run?
General and sleeper coaches have been installed in these Mahashivratri special trains so that passengers can travel as per their convenience. According to the schedule released by the Railways, these trains will operate for ten days in three shifts i.e. morning, evening and night. With this, passengers will be able to travel at any time as per their convenience without any problem.
Special train route and schedule
Train number 09305/06 will leave from Ujjain railway station at 9 am, which will reach Sant Hirdaram Nagar railway station at 1:30 pm. Meanwhile, this train will leave from Sant Hirdaram Nagar Railway Station at 2:30 pm, which will reach Ujjain Railway Station, the city of Baba Mahakal, by 7:30 pm.
train to travel at night
Train number 09307/08 is an excellent option for night traveling passengers. This train will depart from Ujjain at 9:00 pm and reach Bhopal at 2:10 am. In return, it will leave from Bhopal at 3:10 pm and return to Ujjain by 8:00 am.
Third evening special train
Train number 09313/14 departs from Ujjain at 4:00 pm and reaches Sant Hirdaram Nagar at 9:40 pm. In return, this train departs from there at 10:30 pm and returns to Ujjain at 2:00 am.
At which stations will these special trains stop?
These trains will stop at all the main stations like Tarana Road, Maksi, Berchha and Sehore during their journey. This has been done so that people living in nearby villages can also get ease of travel.
