Produced by Strong Baby with backing from A24, Skyler has created this comedy series based on his own experiences as Benny, a former high school jock who now navigates through an online world. The second season of Overcompensating will feature even more outrageous situations for Benny; however, due to the success of season one and the events that set up season two, many fans have been anxiously awaiting the premiere day.
With its debut season airing on Prime Video in the fall of 2025, Overcompensating has quickly become a breakout comedy and has been praised for its clever humour and heartfelt exploration of identity. As of February 2026, there has been no official announcement or renewal of Season 2, nor has Prime Video announced when will be the production is taking place or how much time will pass before Season 2 is released.
