PM Modi’s flight ticket cancelled… Why did Congress book for PM? Political twist increased due to tweet

Narendra Modi News: Today, a unique and sharp color of politics was seen during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Assam. On one hand, the PM was inaugurating the country’s first emergency landing facility in Dibrugarh, Assam, while on the other hand, Congress surrounded him in an interesting manner on the issue of not going to Manipur. Congress not only took a jibe at the PM but also symbolically booked an air ticket for him from Guwahati to Imphal.

Congress media department chairman Pawan Kheda shared the Air India ticket booked in the name of PM Modi on social media platform X. He said that since PM Modi is in Assam today and Manipur is just an hour away from there, this ticket has been booked to make his journey easier. Kheda quipped that dear Prime Minister! Electoral states may be your priority, but Manipur should not be left out. Please use this ticket and show that PM truly CARES.

Air India canceled the ticket?

A new twist in this political drama came when Pawan Kheda claimed that Air India had quietly canceled the ticket booked by him. He alleged that the airline also probably knew that the Prime Minister would not go to Manipur. Kheda sarcastically said that it is becoming a common perception that the Prime Minister visits the North-Eastern states only when elections are near. He raised the question that why has the Prime Minister not found time till now to take care of Manipur, which is burning in the fire of violence since 2023?

PM’s show of strength in Dibrugarh

Amidst these attacks by the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today dedicated a very important achievement to the country from a strategic point of view in Dibrugarh, Assam. He landed with military aircraft C-130J at the country’s first Emergency Landing Facility (ELF) built on the highway. This airstrip has been prepared for the landing of fighter jets in case of war or emergency.

Congress called PM’s visit election tourism

While this visit of the Prime Minister is being described as historic in terms of infrastructure and security, the Congress has started a debate by terming it as election tourism. Congress argues that if the Prime Minister can come to Assam, then why can’t he go to neighboring Manipur to heal its wounds. At present, this ticket war has become the center of discussion on social media and has once again brought the Manipur crisis to the center of national discussion.
