Grand inauguration of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha and Maa Kherpati Temple Festival
To tie. These days, a unique gathering of faith and devotion is being seen in village Pachokhar under Naraini tehsil of the district. Seeing the deep devotion of the villagers, this grand religious festival organized by the youth started with the Kalash Yatra on 14 February 2026. Thousands of women and men participated in this yatra with enthusiasm and full devotion, which filled the entire village with divine energy. This event is not only of religious importance but is also becoming a symbol of social unity and youth power, where everyone is happy by being absorbed in the grace of Mother Goddess and the leela of God.
After the Kalash Yatra, the sacred discourse of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha started, in which the Bhagwat Katha is being narrated by the famous Bhagwatcharya of Rajasthan, Pandit Aditya Krishna Shastri ji. The nectar of speech emanating from his mouth has drenched the hearts of the devotees with the essence of devotion. Through this story, a wave of devotion is spreading in the village, which is providing new energy to the age-old faith. Everyone is immersing themselves in this divine story and wishing for peace of mind and salvation, due to which the entire atmosphere is filled with devotion and reverence.
On 20 February 2026, the historic moment of consecration of the new idol of Maa Kherpati will come, where this sacred task will be accomplished by the great Vedacharya who has come from Banaras. According to the elders of the village, this statue is hundreds of years old (estimated to be four-five hundred years), which was installed on the edge of the village. The installation of the new idol will infuse new divinity and energy into the temple. The program will conclude on 22 February 2026 with a grand havan, mass bhandara, where all the devotees will make offerings to seek the blessings of Maa Kherpati and God. This festival will become a living testimony of the wonderful confluence of devotion, devotion and faith.
