Barabanki Bar Association President Naresh Verma has given a strict warning to the police administration and given 48 hours time. He said, “Advocates are being targeted across Uttar Pradesh. If the killers are not arrested and the incident revealed within 48 hours, we will be forced to boycott work and launch a massive agitation.”

Advocates mobilized for justice

Seeing the anger of the lawyers, top officials of the district administration and police are trying to pacify them. Security has been increased in the Collectorate premises. The lawyers have made it clear that now they only want concrete action. The Bar Association says that the murder of an advocate in broad daylight is a big threat to the judiciary and society.
