Singh scored a half-century in just 12 balls against England in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Oman captain Lorcan Tucker missed his century. Oman won the toss and decided to bowl first. Ireland did not have a good start when they came to bat. The team had lost the wickets of both the opening batsmen, Tim Tector and Ross Adair, at the score of 25. The third wicket fell at 45 to Harry Tector and the fourth wicket fell to Curtis Campher at 64.

After this, for the fifth wicket, Captains Lorcan Tucker and Gareth Delany strengthened the team by making a partnership of 101 runs in 56 balls and took the score to 165. Delaney was out after scoring 56 runs in 30 balls with the help of four sixes and three fours. After Delany was dismissed, Lorcan Tucker made a partnership of 50 runs from 19 balls with George Dockrell for the sixth wicket. Tucker did not get a chance to bat in the last over.
