This will provide a lot of relief to those traveling between Delhi and Greater Noida. This extension of Aqua Line has been prepared to directly connect Sector-142 of Noida with the Botanical Garden, the junction of Blue Line and Magenta Line of Delhi Metro.
This corridor will be operated by Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). Its main objective is to improve the connectivity of the sectors located along the Noida Expressway.
Overall Length: Approximately 11.56 kilometres.
Estimated Cost: About Rs 2,254 crore.
Number of stations: A total of 8 stations are proposed on this route.
Type: This will be a completely elevated corridor.
With the arrival of Metro, the number of private vehicles on the road will reduce, which will save travel time and improve road safety. Also, increased use of metro will reduce carbon emissions, which is a big step towards environmental protection.
