Meanwhile, Graham is set to return as Lieutenant Commander Charlie Cole, reuniting with Hanks’ Captain Krause. Alongside Hanks and Graham, other actor are also reprising their roles.

Elisabeth Shue will reprise her role from the original film, while newcomer Jack Patten, recently seen in a high-profile period drama, joins the ensemble in a supporting role.

Greyhound 2 continues the story of Commander Ernest Krause and his small escort flotilla, taking the action from Normandy’s shores to the Pacific theater.

The screenplay tracks Krause and his crew on a high-stakes mission designed to turn the tide of war, promising intense naval battles and gripping close-quarters tension akin to the original.
