Road accident in Khairpur district of Sindh province of Pakistan, at least 11 people died
Karachi. At least 11 people were killed when a trailer carrying sand collided with another sand trailer near Tando Masti in Khairpur district of Sindh province of Pakistan. The dead included nine passengers and the driver and conductor of the bus. This bus was going from Punjab to Karachi. Rescue officials gave this information this morning.
In the report of Geo News channel, quoting Edhi Foundation, it has been said that more than 10 people have been injured in this accident. All are undergoing treatment at Khairpur Civil Hospital. After the accident, Sindh Inspector General of Police directed Senior Superintendent of Police Khairpur to immediately reach the accident site and supervise the rescue operations.
Meanwhile, at least 14 people were killed and several others injured in a collision between multiple vehicles near Kathore on the M-9 motorway on Friday. The accident occurred after an oil tanker, a bus and several other vehicles collided. Rescue officials confirmed that the dead included women and children. Due to the collision many passengers fell from the bridge.
