Rohit Bohra Viral Video : Such a picture has emerged from the Rajasthan Assembly, which has tarnished the parliamentary dignity. The indecent and obscene gesture of Congress MLA Rohit Bohra from Rajkheda, Dholpur was captured on camera during the live proceedings of the House, which is now going viral on social media. This has created a stir in the political circles from Rajasthan to Uttar Pradesh.

This shameful incident happened at a time when Zero Hour proceedings were going on in the House. Senior Congress MLA Harimohan Sharma was speaking in the House and the focus of the camera was towards the opposition gallery. Meanwhile, MLA Rohit Bohra, while sitting on his seat, made such an objectionable gesture, which cannot be called decent. Perhaps the MLA has forgotten that every movement of this temple of democracy is in the public eye and millions of people are watching its live telecast.

BJP’s sharp attack

As soon as this video became public, the Bharatiya Janata Party started attacking the Congress. Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh BJP shared this video from their official social media handles and termed it as Congress culture. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel and Cabinet Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham said that the public considers its representatives as ideals, but such acts tarnish the credibility of the entire House. The ruling party is now adamant on demanding strict disciplinary action and public apology against Rohit Bohra.

This controversy has put Congress on the defensive. The opposition alleges that this kind of indecent thinking has become ingrained in the Congress leaders. This incident has come at a time when there have already been controversies regarding the old statements of some Congress leaders. However, no clarification has come from Rohit Bohra yet. But, this one gesture of his has started a new debate of decorum versus foul language in the politics of Rajasthan. This conduct inside the House has forced one to think whether the public representatives have completely forgotten their responsibility and the dignity of their post.
