India AI Summit: India is going to host a historic global event in February 2026. To be held in New Delhi from 16 to 20 February India-AI Impact Summit 2026 Will bring together heads of state and government from 20 countries around the world. This four-day conference is being led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Its main objective is to decide how Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI should be used in the interest of people and the earth.
Why did India become the center of AI discussion?
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, this summit will include global policy-makers, technology experts and innovators. Veteran leaders of big countries will be included
French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will visit India on official visits to the conference. Apart from this, the Presidents of Estonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka and Switzerland will also participate. The Prime Ministers of Bhutan, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Kazakhstan, Mauritius and Netherlands will be present on this platform. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein and the Vice Presidents of Bolivia, Guyana and Seychelles will also represent their countries.
Participation of more than 45 countries
Ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries will participate in this summit. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and senior representatives of several international organizations will also take part in the deliberations. This shows the growing impact of AI on a global scale.
