 IND vs PAK, India plan vs Usman Tariq: The much-awaited match of T20 World Cup 2026 between India and Pakistan is now just a few hours away. Fans have been waiting for a long time for this high-voltage match to be held at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. On the evening of 13 February, the Indian team did net practice at R Premadasa Stadium, where a special strategy was worked out against Usman Tariq. In the video that surfaced, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav himself was seen copying the bowling action of Usman.

In the video, Surya was seen taking a slight pause before throwing the ball like Usman while giving practice to Abhishek Sharma. This is the same specialty that makes Usman’s action different and spoils the rhythm of the batsmen. Team India is preparing the batsmen for that challenge before the match through this practice.

IND vs PAK: “Don’t leave questions out of syllabus” Surya

In the press conference, when Suryakumar Yadav was asked a question about Usman Tariq’s bowling and preparation, he replied giving an interesting example. He said that if a question outside the syllabus comes in the examination, it is not left aside, but an attempt is made to solve it.

Surya clarified that Team India has always practiced against different types of bowlers and plans are being made accordingly. His statement shows that the Indian team is not surprised by Usman’s unique action.

IND vs PAK: Pakistan has slight lead in Sri Lankan conditions

Pakistan team is playing all its matches in this tournament in Sri Lanka, due to which it has a better understanding of the local conditions. After playing two matches, he has got experience of the pitch and the weather, which can give him a slight edge.

However, Suryakumar Yadav refused to consider it a big issue. He said that the Indian team has also played here before and the conditions are similar to India. Playing in Sri Lanka is definitely challenging, but the team will take the field with full preparation.
