Delhi ready for AI summit, 20 heads of state, 300 delegations and there will be high-tech security

AI Summit Delhi: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing the world rapidly today. “India AI Impact Summit 2026” is being organized in New Delhi to discuss this topic. This big international conference will be held in Bharat Mandapam between 16th and 20th. Many big leaders, tech experts and policy makers of the world will participate in this program.

Presidents of about 20 countries will participate

Presidents, Prime Ministers and Vice Presidents of about 20 countries will participate in this summit. These include prominent names like French President Emmanuel Macron and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Overall, more than 300 foreign delegations will participate in this program.

How are the security arrangements?

Delhi is fully prepared for this big event. For security, NDMC has installed more than 350 high-tech AI cameras. These cameras are keeping an eye on the entire area. All activities are being monitored from an integrated command and control centre. Delhi Police and Traffic Police are also linked to this system, so that immediate action can be taken on VVIP movement, traffic and any suspicious activity.

Special surveillance at hotels and special places

Special surveillance is being maintained at hotels and key places, because foreign guests will be staying at different places. Police and NDMC are working together so that there is no problem of any kind. Earlier, AI Safety Summit has been organized in Britain in 2023, AI Summit in South Korea in 2024 and AI Action Summit in Paris in 2025. This will be the fourth major global AI conference to be held in New Delhi.

What is the purpose of this summit

The objective of this summit is to discuss the safe, ethical and responsible use of AI. Companies and governments want AI to be used within legal and social responsibilities. Through this platform, India wants to send a message to the world that it is ready to play a strong and responsible global leadership in the field of digital technology and AI.
