Dhurandhar Breaks Massive Record, Leaves Chhaava and Jawan Far Behind After 59 Days of Non-Stop Trending
Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable run even months after release. In an era where most films lose momentum within weeks, this spy thriller has managed to keep audiences engaged for over two months, proving its massive popularity.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar has now become the longest-trending Indian film on the online ticketing platform BookMyShow. The movie has reportedly stayed in trending charts for 59 consecutive days, breaking the previous record held by Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which trended for 58 days. With this achievement, the film has also moved ahead of major box office hits like Jawan and Pushpa 2: The Rule in terms of long-term audience buzz.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has already crossed a massive ₹1300 crore worldwide collection, including more than ₹800 crore from India alone. Even after its OTT release eight weeks after theatrical debut, the movie continued to earn around ₹25–30 lakh daily, showing rare consistency at the box office. Now in its tenth week, the film is still running in cinemas.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the movie features strong performances from Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt. Fans are now eagerly waiting for the sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which is set to hit theatres on March 19.
