BJP MLA and singer Maithili Thakur’s mother’s jewelery and purse stolen, thieves took away from the car, FIR registered

Diamond studded jewelery and precious watch of BJP MLA Maithili Thakur’s mother Bharti Thakur were stolen in Lalapatti village of Darbhanga. The incident occurred during a meeting on February 1, when unidentified thieves stole items from a purse kept in the vehicle. Police have registered an FIR at Ghanshyampur police station and are investigating the CCTV footage.

According to the information received, Bharti Thakur, mother of MLA Maithili Thakur, resident of Benipatti in Madhubani district, had come with her son on the night of February 1 to attend a meeting organized in Lalapatti village. She had left her purse in the car during the meeting. Meanwhile, unknown thieves stole a diamond studded ear stud and a precious watch from the purse.
