In a recent interview, she has admitted that she was an atheist before. She also said that due to some incidents, she turned to spirituality. Along with this, she has also shared her experience of Kedarnath.
Recently, Rinku Rajguru said in an interview to Rajshree Marathi, “Earlier I did not believe in God. I was an atheist. After going to Kedarnath, I started to believe in God because of some incidents. Then I started fasting and experienced it. In fact, I am now very much converted to those things. There are scientific reasons behind the pujas, chants, mantras, festivals. But with all this there is some power. Only when He wills, we do those things or I start to believe. The same thing happened in my life and then I felt that there is hope and peace in the house. That’s why I used to do it for myself.
Rinku further recounted her experience in Kedarnath, she said, “I can never forget my experience. I suddenly felt that I want to go to Kedarnath and I went. I walked to Kedarnath on a full moon day on Thursday. I was very tired and my feet were hurting. I had darshan and felt at that time that I should at least get a helicopter, because I had a flight the next day. A man told us that we would get a helicopter. We waited for two or three hours. After waiting, it got dark and I said to God that I will get a helicopter to visit with my family.

Rinku continued, then a man came and said the chopper would not be available. I was crying a lot then. Annoyed, said to God in that trouble, what is this God.. what are you listening to… Wanted a helicopter but not doing that too.. was going on talking like that, a man came from behind and asked about the helicopter. He said there are only two seats. At that time I was running with joy and fell. My knee hurt. Then I said to God that I will never complain from here on, because I got the punishment right there.”
