IND vs PAK: Abhishek Sharma returns to the Indian team, Pakistan chose bowling

IND vs PAK: R of Colombo. Pakistan has won the toss in the important match of Group A of T20 World Cup 2026 today at Premadasa Stadium. Pakistan captain Salman Agha decided to bowl first, due to which Team India would come out to bat first. The match will start at 7 pm IST.

India has made two major changes against Pakistan. Abhishek Sharma has been included back in the team in place of Sanju Samson, while Kuldeep Yadav has been included in place of Arshdeep Singh.

Surya did not shake hands

There was an expectation of a handshake between the two captains at the time of the toss, but India continued its old policy and no handshake took place. Suryakumar Yadav and Salman Aga just tossed the coin and took the decision. The same thing happened in Asia Cup 2025, where India defeated Pakistan in three matches and there was a lot of controversy over not shaking hands.
