‘The Joker show is going well these days’, Obama responds to Trump’s racist video post
Donald Trump was accused of posting a racist video about his predecessor Barack Obama. Allegedly, with the help of AI, a chimpanzee’s face was placed on the face of Obama and his wife Michelle Obama in that video. Although the controversial video was posted on Trump’s social media, he did not admit the ‘mistake’. This time, former US President Obama took a turn while maintaining the grandeur. “Joker show is going well these days,” he said, naming Trump on Saturday.
Obama recently gave an interview on the podcast. There he said, in recent times there is a lack of shame and modesty among political leaders. Needless to say, this comment was directed at Trump. Interviewer Brian Taylor Coyne asked directly, “There’s a level of cruelty these days that was unimaginable. A few days ago Donald Trump put a chimpanzee’s face high up on your body.” How do you see this decline in taste?
Without naming Trump, Obama said, “This kind of joker show is going well on social media and television. And the truth is, people who used to think there should be some decency, decency and respect for office are being proven wrong. (Trump) doesn’t seem to have any shame about it, does he? Looks like the decency thing is gone.”
In the first week of this month, Trump was posting one after another on social media attacking the opposition Democratic Party. One of those posts contained a 62-second video. Where seen, two chimpanzees are roaming in the forest. With the help of artificial intelligence, the faces of Obama and his wife Michelle Obama were placed on the faces of the two animals. However, the video was deleted the next day at noon.
After the video was posted on social media, the uproar started. Not only Democrats, but also members of Trump’s own party, the Republican Party, opposed it. Trump, however, did not apologize for this. However, the White House blamed a staffer for posting the video.
