Before Vaibhav Suryavanshi, there is only West Indies’ veteran batsman Chris Gayle, who scored a century in just 30 balls while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Pune Warriors in 2013. Third in this list is Yusuf Pathan, who scored a century in 37 balls for Rajasthan Royals against Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2010. When David Miller scored a century in 38 balls for Kings XI Punjab (HWE Punjab Kings) against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013.
Youngest batsman to score a century
Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored this century at the age of only 14 years and 32 days. Which means that the record of scoring the youngest T20 century is now in the name of Vaibhav. Earlier this record was in the name of Vijay Jhol, who scored a century for Maharashtra against Mumbai in 2013 at the age of 18 years and 118 days.
