Demonstration on 17-18 February in Delhi regarding Sarna Dharma Code, Special Branch alerts DC-SP of 5 districts

Ranchi: Tribal organizations will protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 17-18 February demanding Sarna Dharma Code. People from tribal community from Jharkhand will also participate in this. In view of this, the Special Branch has alerted the DC and SSP-SP of Ranchi, Ramgarh, Jamtara, Palamu and East Singhbhum districts. It is said that law and order may deteriorate while they go to Delhi by train.

Special Branch has said that Rashtriya Tribal Samaj Sarna Dharma Raksha Sabha had held a meeting regarding this protest on February 7 at Piska Mod in Ranchi. It was presided over by Shiva Kachhap, President of Central Sarna Sangharsh Committee. It was said in the meeting that there will be a religious revolution regarding the Sarna Dharma Code.

Know from where and how many people will go to Delhi

Under the leadership of Central Sarna Committee President Shiva Kachhap and TAC member Narayan Oraon from Ranchi, more than 1000 people from Ranchi, Lohardaga, Gumla will go to Delhi from Ranchi and Hatia stations. He will stay at Ambedkar Bhawan in Delhi.
– About 200 people from Ramgarh under the leadership of Lakhindra Munda, Dinesh Munda and Sunil Munda will reach New Delhi by train from Barkakana Railway Station and Ranchi Railway Station. All of them will stay in tents at the protest site at Jantar Mantar.
– People from Jamtara district will go to Delhi under the leadership of Manjhi Pargana Bisi district in-charge Jagdish Murmu.
