‘The blanket got crushed…’, Sehwag on Pakistan’s defeat, Sachin also quipped
Pakistani cricket team has been defeated badly by India at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Pakistan has suffered such a crushing defeat by 61 runs that Indian fans have gone crazy. Be it former legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar or Virender Sehwag, everyone has praised the Indian team a lot. With this victory, India achieved three wins in three matches and secured a place in the Super 8. Virender Sehwag has even said that Pakistani players have been crushed under the blanket.
India batted first after losing the toss and scored 175 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. The start was not good, Abishek Sharma was out for a duck in the very first over. But Ishan Kishan played an amazing inning. He scored 77 runs in just 40 balls, which included 10 fours and 3 sixes. His stormy innings turned the match towards India.

Ishan Kishan played like a real legend. Of all the smaller teams, Pakistan seemed to be the easiest for India to beat because of their 17th-century approach to T-20 cricket. As usual they got a good defeat. The entire blanket was crushed.
Akshar Patel said in the press conference that he sees Pakistan only as a team, not a rivalry. Shoaib Akhtar, a Pakistani cricketer of Pakistani cricket team, quipped. He said that everyone has been made a star but no one is able to play properly.

What did Sachin Tendulkar say?
Sachin Tendulkar said, ‘India snatched the match from their hands in the powerplay. Ishan Kishan’s bowling in the first innings and the tremendous bowling we saw in the second innings made a big difference. We were always in the driving seat. India did wonders tonight.
