Desk: A shocking revelation has come to light in the case of murder of a person with an ax in Jharkhand. The wife of the deceased conspired with her lover brother-in-law and got him murdered by giving her a betel nut. Three accused have been arrested in this case, while the brother of the deceased is said to be absconding. A sensational incident that has brought shame to relationships has come to light from Godda district. Here a woman has been arrested for conspiring to murder her own husband. Police claim that the woman had an illicit relationship with her brother-in-law. Both wanted to get married. When the husband became a hindrance in the way, she was murdered.

According to the information, two hired killers including a woman were arrested on Saturday. The brother of the deceased is still absconding. The search for him is going on. The 32-year-old victim was murdered with an ax on January 27 in Mangan Pipra village of Mahagama police station area. During the investigation of this case, the police made a sensational revelation. SDPO Chandrashekhar Azad said, “We have arrested three people including the victim’s wife Soni Devi (30). The brother of the deceased is absconding, efforts are being made to nab him. Soni Devi was in a love affair with her brother-in-law Rohit Modi for the last 5 years. Both wanted to get married. So they conspired to remove the victim from the way.”

Police investigation revealed that the entire conspiracy was hatched by the woman and her god. Rohit Modi along with his village friend Mohammad Shine had given contract for murder for one lakh rupees. After this, Shine included his neighbor Vijendra Paswan alias Bido in this conspiracy. He had also given him Rs 25 thousand. According to the police, as part of the conspiracy, Shine and Vijendra bought an axe. On January 27, at the behest of Rohit, he called the victim out of the house on the pretext of drinking alcohol. As soon as he got the opportunity, he was hit on the head with an axe, due to which he died on the spot. During interrogation the accused confessed to their crime.

The ax and other items used in the crime have also been recovered. Police registered a case against the four accused, including the wife of the deceased, under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code. All three accused have been sent to judicial custody. The police are continuously conducting raids in search of the absconding accused. Let us tell you that like Godda’s Soni, Muskaan Rastogi, a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, along with her lover, had put her husband to death. This case was so heinous that after its revelation, people’s souls were shaken. Muskaan had cut her husband’s body into pieces and buried it in a blue drum.
