Government, startups and creators come together at MoIB Pavilion
New Delhi, 16 February 2026: As India emerges as a leading global voice in the growing Artificial Intelligence sector, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MoIB) has created a dedicated pavilion at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 to showcase India’s growing technological capabilities, depth of startups and policy-led approach to responsible AI adoption.
The pavilion features the WAVES Creators Corner, designed as a media and interaction space where policymakers, startups, creators and industry leaders come together to discuss how artificial intelligence can be integrated with India’s development priorities, cultural diversity and national security concerns.
Officials associated with this initiative said that the objective of the pavilion is to showcase India’s AI ecosystem not just as a consumer of global technology, but as a creator of indigenous, scalable and socially relevant AI solutions.
The MoIB pavilion showcases Indian startups and entrepreneurs working in sectors such as healthcare, media, content, governance and social impact. Through curated talks and founder-led discussions, the pavilion aims to provide visibility to Indian companies building AI products for local and global markets.
“The aim is to ensure that Indian AI innovation is seen, understood and contextualized globally,” an official said, adding that the pavilion creates direct interaction between startups and policy makers, investors and international delegates.
The pavilion’s programming focuses on the WAVES Creators Corner, which hosts a series of structured panels, fireside chats and startup showcases. All sessions are live-streamed on Prasar Bharati’s digital platform, WAVES OTT, extending the audience reach beyond the summit venue.
The story behind the startups and innovations behind the pavilion is being curated by YourStory, which is hosting multiple sessions at the summit to highlight emerging founders, women leaders in AI, and companies building solutions for India and Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.
