In a romantic Valentine’s Day turn of events, Stranger Things star Maya Hawke exchanged vows with musician Christian Lee Hutson in a charming ceremony at New York City’s St. George’s Episcopal Church.
The 27-year-old bride wore a stunning white wedding dress paired with an oversized, feathery winter coat. Meanwhile, the groom, 35, opted for a classic tuxedo.
Hawke’s mother, Uma Thurman, 55, radiated elegance in a soft blue gown and matching shoes. Her father, Ethan Hawke, also 55, complemented in an all-black ensemble. Her brother, Levon Roan Thurman-Hawke, was also in attendance at the February 14 wedding.
Besides family and close friends, the wedding was attended by her Stranger Things squad. Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery turned up at the actress’s big day.
Christian Lee Hutson’s romance with Maya Hawke was already on the radar when he spoke with SoCal Sound Session last year. Host Julie Slater referenced his collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers on Carousel Horses from his album Paradise Pop. 10. She added that he’d worked on the track with his “fiancée,” Maya. The singer-songwriter simply smiled and confirmed, “Yeah.”
Two months after Hutson’s confirmation of the swirling rumors, the Little Women actress flashed a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand while chatting on the phone in Manhattan.
