New Delhi, 16 February 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today welcomed world leaders, industry leaders, innovators, policy makers, researchers and technology enthusiasts at the AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Pavilion, New Delhi. The theme of the summit is “Sarvajan Hitaya, Sarvajan Sukhaay – Welfare of all, Happiness of all”, reflecting India’s commitment to use Artificial Intelligence for human-centric progress and inclusive development.
The Prime Minister highlighted the transformative role of AI in various sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, governance and enterprise. He expressed confidence that the discussions at the Summit will enrich the global discourse on innovation, collaboration and responsible use of AI, which will shape a progressive, innovative and opportunity-driven future.
Prime Minister Modi had emphasized India’s leadership in the global AI transformation, driven by its strength of 1.4 billion people, strong digital public infrastructure, dynamic startup ecosystem and cutting-edge research. He stressed that India’s progress in AI reflects both ambition and responsibility, keeping the nation at the forefront of technological advancement.

Sharing a thread post on Twitter, Modi had written, “Bringing the world together to discuss AI! Starting today, India is organizing the AI Impact Summit at the Bharat Pavilion in Delhi. I heartily welcome world leaders, industry leaders, innovators, policy makers, researchers and tech enthusiasts from across the world to this summit.
