CM Yogi said in UP Legislative Council, ‘UP has become Faith Zone from Fear Zone, no curfew, no riots’!
CM Yogi termed the alleged indecent behavior towards the Governor in the House as against democratic norms and said that it is the responsibility of all of us to respect the constitutional head. He alleged that the conduct of the opposition reflects its negative thinking.
He claimed that there was no communal riot in the state after 2017. Earlier there was a situation like ‘one district one mafia’, goonda tax and illegal collection were common, whereas now zero tolerance policy is in force.
He said that the state is now moving towards becoming a revenue surplus state and is becoming a center of investment, innovation and transparency. CM Yogi said, “Development based on heritage is the foundation stone of a bright future.” He alleged that Congress and Samajwadi Party insulted national symbols and places of faith in political interest.
The Chief Minister also mentioned the works related to cultural heritage including the memorial and university of Maharaja Suheldev, installation of the statue of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar. Referring to the Mahakumbh and Magh Mela in Prayagraj, he said that the participation of crores of devotees is a proof of increased confidence in good governance and security. The state which was earlier known for riots, is today being recognized for Deepotsav, Dev Diwali and Rangotsav.
CM said that more than 2.19 lakh policemen were recruited in the last years, out of which 20 percent posts were reserved for women. The number of women policemen has increased from 10 thousand to more than 44 thousand.
He said that Uttar Pradesh has now emerged from the identity of fear, anarchy and distrust and has entered a new era of development, investment, faith and confidence.
