In the Indian auto market we find many foreign auto companies. Who try to offer best car according to customer demand. One such popular company is Hyundai Motors. Now the company is preparing to launch the facelift version of Hyundai Verna in the Indian market.

According to media reports, a glimpse of the interior of this updated sedan has already surfaced. The cabin design in the new Verna has been made more modern and attractive. The interior is of particular importance to sedan buyers, as while the engine and price are almost the same, customers decide on the cabin’s looks and features.

New design in steering wheel

The steering wheel has been redesigned in the new Verna facelift. According to the spy photos, it will feature a two-spoke steering wheel with a rounded rim and a simple, clean design. The switches on the steering wheel have also been kept slim and minimal, giving the car a modern look.

On the other hand, the Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia offer steering with thick rims and wide spokes, which gives a firm grip and a sporty feel while driving. The cabin of the new Verna will be more technology-oriented, which could be particularly attractive for city use.

Dual screen and new dashboard layout

The Verna facelift will feature a large single glass panel, which will integrate the infotainment screen and digital instrument cluster. This design gives the car a more premium look. The cabin can also feature red accents along with a black theme, making the interior feel more stylish. The Virtus and Slavia also have well-placed screens, but the Verna’s new layout looks more modern.

Engines, Price and Competition

Engine options are not expected to change much. It will be available with 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5 liter turbo petrol engines. Manual and DCT gearbox options will also be offered. Verna is currently priced between Rs 10.80 lakh and Rs 17.13 lakh. After the facelift, the price is likely to increase by around Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000. Still, it could give Virtus and Slavia strong competition.
